Students are exposed to a varied musical curriculum that examines their relationship with music. By exploring different aspects of music, student will have an enhanced appreciate of the skill required to successfully create and perform music. Subjects covered include: music technology, music theory, and music history. Students will also develop basic skills for reading, creating, and performing specific repertoire. They will also have a basic understanding of the historical development of specific musical forms. These skills develop students’ ability to make aesthetic judgments and have a deeper relationship with music throughout their lives.
